Our story

A shop the valley can count on.

Restoration Rods was built on a simple idea: treat every car like it's our own, and treat every customer like family. Turns out, that's rarer than it should be.

From the owner

Built one honest job at a time.

Brent's journey started with a one-man operation in a garage. No fancy sign, no sales pitch, just a wrench, a workbench, and a commitment to doing things right. Over time, that commitment built Restoration Rods into what it is today.

Brent believes in giving customers the best advice for their vehicles even if it means steering them toward a solution that's less profitable for the shop. It's not about sales; it's about doing right by every car and every customer. Integrity is the standard of the shop.

This is still a family-run shop in Garden City, Idaho, and our name is on the door. At the end of the day, Brent's just a guy fixing cars, but the work speaks for itself.

Rooted in Garden City

From dream builds to daily drivers.

We started with a two-bay shop, a couple of lifts, and a garage-full of tools we'd been collecting our whole lives. What we didn't have, we knew how to build. And what we couldn't build, we knew how to fix.

Today, Restoration Rods handles everything from ground-up classic restorations to the oil change on the family SUV. The dream car in bay one gets the same care as the commuter in bay three  because in this shop, every vehicle matters.

Our customers keep coming back, and they keep sending their friends. We'd like to keep growing that way, one honest job at a time.
