A rebuilt, competition-spec powerplant topped with a Whipple supercharger, both roughly a year old. Rated at 800 horsepower, balanced and assembled to competition-level specs, yet still fully street legal. If you know what this is, you know it's special. Number 298 of only 300 built, with just 7,400 miles on it. Naturally aspirated 5.4-liter DOHC V8, Tremec T-56 six-speed, limited-slip rear, Bassani exhaust, factory interior roll bars, and street legal exactly as it sits.

Ford SVT Mustang Cobra R

$38,500

Our 2000 Cobra R finally has company. This is number 249 of only 250 built for 1995, documented with its Ford SVT certificate and original window sticker. It has a 5.8-liter Windsor V8 rated at 300 horsepower, a Tremec five-speed, a limited-slip rear and the factory 20-gallon fuel cell. The rear seat, radio and A/C are still deleted, exactly the way SVT built it. Ford only sold these to buyers with a racing license, and with 48,000 miles and track photos to back it up, this one got used the way Ford intended. It's for a buyer who wants the real thing and plans to drive it.
